Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival at the Airport – Arusha National Park
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be welcomed by your driver-guide and begin your safari with a visit to Arusha National Park.
Despite its compact size, Arusha National Park offers remarkable scenery and diverse habitats, including montane forest, open grassland, lakes, and the slopes of Mount Meru. During your game drive, look out for giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, waterbucks, colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, flamingos, and many bird species. On clear days, the park provides beautiful views of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro.
After the game drive, transfer to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2: Arusha – Materuni Waterfall and Coffee Tour
After breakfast, depart for Materuni Village, located on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro near Moshi. The village is surrounded by lush vegetation, banana farms, coffee plantations, and scenic views of the mountain when weather conditions allow.
On arrival, join a local guide for a walk through the village and surrounding countryside to Materuni Waterfall. The waterfall drops from a height of approximately 80 metres into a natural pool below. You may take a refreshing swim in the cool water if you wish, so bringing swimwear and a towel is recommended.
Later, take part in a traditional Chagga coffee experience. Learn how coffee is grown, harvested, roasted, ground, and prepared using local methods. You will have the opportunity to taste freshly prepared coffee while learning about the culture and daily life of the local community.
After lunch, return to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha / JRO Airport
After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha for Lake Manyara National Park. The drive takes you through the Rift Valley countryside before descending toward the park, which lies beneath the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment.
Enjoy a game drive through Lake Manyara’s varied habitats, from lush groundwater forest and acacia woodland to open grassy areas and the lakeshore. The park is home to elephants, baboons, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, impalas, and many bird species. Lake Manyara is also well known for tree-climbing lions, although sightings are not guaranteed.
After a picnic lunch and final game drive, transfer to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
