A safari company should be defined by its guides — not its marketing.
Why KisangaraAfrica’s largest protected ecosystem — at 5% of the visitor density.
Southern CircuitHow to pay for your Kisangara Tours expedition. All prices in USD, no hidden costs.
Kisangara Tours uses a straightforward payment structure with full transparency at every stage. No hidden fees. No unexplained surcharges. Every item on your invoice is itemised and explained before you pay anything.
To confirm a booking, a deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required. The deposit secures your camp allocations, guide assignment, and all vehicle bookings. For peak season departures (July–October) where camps are booked twelve or more months in advance, the deposit is required immediately upon quotation confirmation to avoid losing the allocation. For off-peak departures, we hold provisional allocations for up to seven days after quotation before deposit is required.
The balance of 70% is due sixty days before the safari departure date. For bookings made within sixty days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking confirmation. All payments are confirmed by email receipt within 24 hours. A full pre-travel information pack — including your day-by-day itinerary, accommodation contact details, guide information, and practical travel advice — is issued upon receipt of the balance payment.
International bank transfer is the standard payment method for most international clients. The Kisangara bank details are provided on the invoice. USD is the standard currency for international transfers. TZS payments are accepted for clients paying from Tanzanian bank accounts. We do not currently accept credit card payments for overseas transfers due to processing fees, but can facilitate payment via a third-party service for clients who require card payment. Please contact us to discuss if this is your preference.
A fully itemised quotation showing every cost component — accommodation rates, park fees, guide, vehicle, domestic flights, transfers — is provided at no obligation. Review, adjust, and confirm the itinerary before any payment is required. We revise quotations at no cost until you are satisfied with every element.
A 30% deposit confirms the booking and secures all camp allocations, guide assignment, and vehicle bookings. An email receipt and booking confirmation is issued within 24 hours. Peak season camp allocations are held provisionally for 48–72 hours before confirmation is required.
The remaining 70% balance is due 60 days before departure. A payment reminder is sent 75 days before departure. Upon receipt of the balance, a full pre-travel information pack is issued including the complete itinerary document, guide information, camp contacts, health and visa guidance, and emergency contact numbers.
All accommodation and activity costs are pre-settled with each property by Kisangara before your arrival. You carry cash only for tips (guides, camp staff, porters on Kilimanjaro) and any personal purchases. No surprise bills on departure from any property. A final settling-up statement is provided after the safari summarising all costs paid on your behalf.
