Who we are

Born in Tanzania.
Focused on East Africa.

Since July 2019, Kisangara Tours has built private safaris and climbs for travellers who want a clear plan, a skilled guide, and no shared vehicle.

Based on Sokoine Road in Arusha, we work across Tanzania and Kenya: Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar, Masai Mara, Amboseli, and more.

Kisangara is named for the African Paradise Flycatcher. Fast, precise, and striking in the right light. That is the standard we hold for every trip.

How we work

Three things we
do not compromise.

01
Private only
Your vehicle. Your guide. Your pace.

No shared departures. We plan around your dates, interests, and energy for the day.

02
Clear pricing
Costs shown before you pay.

Park fees, lodges, and guiding are listed up front. No surprise add-ons later.

03
Local knowledge
Guides who know the parks.

Field experience across seasons, not a script. Where you drive each day is based on what is happening on the ground.

Our guides

Field skill first.
Warm hosting second.

Our guides spend years learning parks, wildlife behaviour, and safe driving before they lead a private safari alone.

Founded by Frida Mberesero, Kisangara keeps planning and guiding close to home so decisions stay fast and personal.

Guest notes

What guests remember.

“Our guide tracked a cheetah hunt from start to finish. The trip felt personal and well run from first message to last transfer.”

James & Claire W. United Kingdom · Northern Circuit

“Private camp, early crater morning, and a bush dinner we still talk about. Exactly the honeymoon pace we wanted.”

Sophie & Thomas B. Switzerland · Honeymoon

“Five parks, one guide, and real patience with our children. Our seven-year-old already asks when we go back.”

Questions

Quick answers.

What makes Kisangara different?
Private departures only, focus on Tanzania and Kenya, clear pricing before deposit, and guides with deep park experience. We keep planning close so changes stay fast.
How far ahead should I book?
For June to October, six to twelve months is safest for good lodges. For other months, three to six months usually works. Last-minute trips are possible with fewer lodge choices.
What is included in the price?
Park fees, full-board lodges as quoted, private vehicle and guide, airport transfers, and drinking water. Flights, insurance, visas, tips, and personal buys are separate and listed clearly.
Can I combine safari with Kilimanjaro or Zanzibar?
Yes. A common plan is five to seven safari days, then beach time on Zanzibar. For Kilimanjaro, many guests climb first, rest in Arusha, then safari. We handle transfers end to end.
