A safari company should be defined by its guides — not its marketing.
Why KisangaraAfrica’s largest protected ecosystem — quieter than the northern circuit.
Southern CircuitOur office is on Sokoine Road — the base for northern circuit safaris and Kilimanjaro trips.
JRO is the main gateway for northern safaris. Flights often connect via Nairobi, Amsterdam, Doha, Dubai, or London. The airport sits about 45km east of Arusha. Kisangara meets guests at arrivals with a name board — transfer to central Arusha usually takes 45–60 minutes.
We book across budgets: central classics like Arusha Hotel, mid-range stays such as Mount Meru Hotel, boutique houses like Onsea House for a quiet pre-safari night, and lodges on the edge of town with Meru views. Overnight can sit inside your full itinerary.
Arusha National Park is about twenty minutes away — a half-day with giraffe, zebra, buffalo, and colobus in the forest. Cultural Heritage Centre is strong for art and Tanzanian gemstones. The Maasai Market near the Clock Tower is typically Thursday and Sunday mornings. A Chagga cultural walk works as a half-day from town.
Briefing is usually at our office or your hotel the evening before departure — about 45–60 minutes. You cover the day-by-day plan, parks, vehicle setup, photography notes, and last packing questions. Your guide uses it to learn what you care about most before the first drive.
