A safari company should be defined by its guides — not its marketing.
Why KisangaraAfrica’s largest protected ecosystem — quieter than the northern circuit.
Southern CircuitPrivate bush dinners under the Milky Way. Dawn in the Ngorongoro Crater. Indian Ocean sunsets. Tanzania for two.
A Kisangara honeymoon is not a standard safari with a champagne arrival. It is an expedition designed around two people — with private mobile camp, early access to the Ngorongoro Crater floor, and a private bush dinner at a location selected by the guide.
Every element is arranged in advance. Nothing is improvised. A classic Kisangara honeymoon outline: four nights Serengeti mobile camp, two nights Ngorongoro crater rim with dawn descent, one night Lake Natron, three nights Zanzibar — or we reshape nights to match your dates and pace.
Designed for two
Sole-use camp at the wildlife front. No other guests. Dawn and dusk game drives. Bush dinner under the Milky Way.
Crater floor as early as gates allow — quieter hours before the main vehicle flow. Full-day crater time with your private guide.
The flamingo flats and Ol Doinyo Lengai — one of the most extraordinary landscapes in East Africa, still lightly visited.
Bush to beach in the same country. Stone Town, north-coast beaches, and an Indian Ocean sunset to close.
Every Kisangara honeymoon safari uses sole-occupancy mobile camps — meaning the camp is set for you and only you. No other guests. No shared dining. No waiting for another vehicle. Your guide sets the programme the evening before each drive, tailored entirely to your interests and pace. If you want to stay at a lion hunt until 10am instead of returning for breakfast, you stay.
Champagne at the first sundowner. A special dinner arrangement for an anniversary night if dates align — a table set in the bush under the stars with a lantern, your guide discreetly at a distance. A handwritten field note from your guide at departure, noting significant species you encountered together. These details are part of the honeymoon programme, not bolted-on extras.
The Zanzibar or Pemba island finale is built into the standard honeymoon programme. Serengeti wilderness nights followed by Indian Ocean coast nights — snorkelling, diving, beach time, seafood, and Stone Town’s spice markets and Arab–Portuguese architecture. The transition is a domestic flight. We arrange both components from a single booking.
A ten-night sample: four nights in the Serengeti, crater-rim time, then Zanzibar. The structure is flexible — every honeymoon is redesigned from the beginning.
