A safari company should be defined by its guides — not its marketing.
Why KisangaraAfrica’s largest protected ecosystem — at 5% of the visitor density.
Southern CircuitEvery Kisangara safari begins with a conversation — not a booking form. We take the time to understand what you want from your time in Tanzania before we propose anything. There is no obligation, no sales pressure, and no one-size-fits-all itinerary waiting to be sent.
Our office is on Sokoine Road in Arusha, in the shadow of Mount Meru and four hours from the southern gate of the Serengeti. We are on the ground. The guides who will accompany you are based here. The camps and lodges we recommend are properties we visit regularly. When you speak to us, you are speaking to people who were in the bush last week.
The best way to start is a phone call or WhatsApp message. We are available seven days a week from 08:00 to 18:00 East Africa Time — UTC+3. If you are calling from a different time zone and need an out-of-hours call, send a WhatsApp message with your preferred time and we will arrange it. Most enquiries receive a substantive written response within four hours during business hours.

The journey from enquiry to departure follows a clear process. Here is what to expect at each stage.
You contact us by phone, WhatsApp, or email. We ask about your travel dates, group composition, interests, and any previous safari experience. This conversation typically takes fifteen to thirty minutes. There is no fee and no obligation. The purpose is for us to understand your vision clearly enough to propose something worth your time.
Within two to three working days of our initial conversation, we send a written itinerary tailored to your specific requirements. The proposal includes day-by-day detail, accommodation recommendations with photos and our written assessment of each property, activity descriptions, and transparent pricing with a full cost breakdown. Nothing is hidden and nothing is marked up without explanation.
Most itineraries go through one to two rounds of refinement. You may want to add a destination, change the accommodation style, extend a segment, or include a special experience. We revise the proposal as many times as needed until it reflects exactly what you want. There is no charge for revisions and no pressure to proceed. Some guests refine over several weeks; others book immediately. Both are entirely acceptable.
When you are satisfied with the itinerary, we send a booking agreement and request a deposit — typically twenty-five to thirty percent of the total. On receipt of the deposit, we confirm all bookings with lodges and camps, arrange vehicle allocations, and assign your lead guide. You receive written confirmation of every element within seven working days of deposit payment.
Two weeks before your arrival, we send a comprehensive pre-departure document covering packing recommendations, health and vaccination requirements, entry requirements, currency advice, climate forecasts for your travel period, and a detailed day-by-day schedule. Your guide is available by phone or WhatsApp from this point forward to answer any questions before you depart.
