Then drive toward Tarangire National Park (about 4–4.5 hours), passing through Arusha, open countryside, and Maasai villages. After an early breakfast at your lodge in Karatu, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, driving through the misty highlands toward one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders.
